Texas A&M American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Medical Student Chapter
Student Neurosurgery Research Program (SNRP)
We believe biomedical research is an integral part of the education of a medical student interested in neurosurgery. The SNRP is a clinical research program developed by Ali Haider and Danielle DeBacker for the purpose of providing medical students interested in neurosurgery with research experience in the form of peer-reviewed journal publications, national presentations, and local presentations. Our program has grown to over a dozen medical students spread throughout all of our campuses and involving our neurosurgery faculty along with those in other specialties including internal medicine and radiology.
